Nablus: Israeli forces attacked Palestinian residents and raided homes and shops in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, during a large-scale military operation that has lasted for over 24 hours, a local official reported.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mohammad Azem, head of the village council, stated that Israeli forces began their raid over a day ago, turning some homes into military posts and positioning snipers on rooftops. Residents reported that soldiers searched dozens of homes, causing damage and assaulting residents in the process. One individual was taken to a hospital due to serious injuries sustained during the raid.
In addition to targeting residences, Israeli troops also raided several commercial businesses, seizing cash and merchandise. Field interrogations were conducted with numerous citizens, escalating the tensions in the area.
