Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces Sunday launched a large-scale raid on the village of Abwein, north of Ramallah city. Mahmoud Hamad, the mayor of Abwein, reported that Israeli troops stormed the village, raiding and searching several homes while snipers took positions on the roof of a resident's house. Infantry soldiers were deployed within the village center and in the western neighborhood, where they physically assaulted several residents. No detentions were reported during the raid.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the operation saw a significant military presence in the area, causing distress among the village inhabitants. The incursion is a part of ongoing tensions in the region, with such raids contributing to the strained relations between the local residents and Israeli forces.
