Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces Thursday closed the Tayasir and al-Hamra military checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley, local sources reported. The closure has restricted civilian movement, aligning with the collective punishment measures implemented by the Israeli forces against Palestinians in the West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, these checkpoints act as barriers, separating the Palestinian Jordan Valley from the northern West Bank governorates.
