Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces closed the Jaba' military checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Sunday evening, causing a major traffic jam. According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli soldiers shut down the iron gate installed at the Jaba' checkpoint, which serves as a main access point to the governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh and Jerusalem, leading to severe traffic congestion. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of military checkpoints and iron gates set up by the occupation across the West Bank has reached 898. This includes 18 gates installed since the beginning of 2025 and 146 gates erected after October 7, 2023.
