Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces closed the Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah on Monday morning. WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces closed the checkpoint in the early morning hours, causing disruption to the movement of Palestinian citizens.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, it is worth noting that these forces routinely close military checkpoints at the entrances to villages and towns, especially in the early morning, hindering the movement of Palestinians. A report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission highlights that the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has reached 916, including 243 gates erected after October 7, 2023.
