Israeli Forces Bulldoze Land in Yatma Village for Settlement Road Construction

Nablus: Israeli forces today bulldozed Palestinian-owned land in the village of Yatma south of Nablus, according to a local official. Ahmed Abu Sanoubar, head of the Yatma village council, reported that Israeli bulldozers continued land-leveling operations on Palestinian-owned land west of the village for the benefit of constructing a road connecting the illegal colonial settlement of Rehalim, built illegally on the village lands, to a nearby hilltop.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the official estimated that hundreds of dunums would be bulldozed to make way for the road. The construction project has sparked concern among local residents and officials who view it as a further encroachment on their land and rights. The road is expected to facilitate access to and from the settlement, raising tensions in the area.
