Israeli Forces Block Access to Agricultural Lands Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces closed an agricultural road on Sunday in the Umm Rukba area, south of the town of Al-Khader, in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, according to local sources. Ibrahim Musa, a member of the Al-Khader Municipal Council, reported that an Israeli military bulldozer blocked the road with earth mounds after bulldozing it.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this road is the only one that connects farmers to their agricultural lands in the area. Musa stated that farmers have been unable to access their lands since all agricultural roads were closed by the occupation authorities following the outbreak of Israel's military aggression on the Gaza Strip in 2023.
