Ramallah: Israeli occupation bulldozers commenced the demolition of a four-story residential building in Kharbatha al-Misbah village, located west of Ramallah, on Monday morning.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Fayez Harfoush, a member of the Kharbatha al-Misbah village council, reported via phone that Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by three bulldozers, entered the village and started the demolition of the building owned by Mahmoud Muhammad Musa al-Habal's family. The building houses approximately 50 residents, with each floor covering an area of 180 square meters.
Harfoush further stated that the occupation forces declared the area surrounding the building a closed military zone, restricting access to citizens. He confirmed that the house, which has been standing for over 20 years, was previously under a demolition order for being constructed without a permit, leading to the current demolition activity.
