Israeli Forces Beat Up Two Brothers Near Ramallah

RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces Friday evening beat up two Palestinian brothers in al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to a municipal source.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marzouq Abu Naim, head of al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that the forces severely beat the two brothers from the village. The incident occurred while the brothers, identified as Rabi' and Khaled Abu Naim, were accompanying several international solidarity activists in al-Khalayel area, south of the village. The assault resulted in fractures to their hands.

The brothers were part of a group trying to prevent the demolition of Palestinian facilities in the area by Israeli forces. Marzouq Abu Naim noted that the previous day, the occupation forces had dismantled a portable toilet installed by a family next to their residential tents. Additionally, the forces confiscated a vehicle from the area.
