Israeli Forces Assault Young Man, Set Up Military Checkpoint Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces on Friday assaulted a young Palestinian man after detaining him and set up a military checkpoint in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, according to local sources. Witnesses reported that the soldiers detained an unidentified young man and severely beat him before releasing him.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces also erected a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town. They stopped vehicles, inspected them, and checked the IDs of residents, which caused heavy traffic congestion in the area.
