Turmusayya: Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening assaulted Palestinians in Turmusayya town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources. They reported that the occupation forces entered the town, attacked civilians, and confiscated the ID cards of media personnel who attempted to report on the raid.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the soldiers stormed the town at a time when Israeli colonists gathered in the area. The occupation forces frequently conduct raids on Palestinian homes across the West Bank under the pretext of searching for 'wanted' Palestinians, often leading to clashes with local residents.
These raids occur without the requirement of a search warrant, as the Israeli military exercises broad arbitrary powers, allowing them to operate whenever and wherever they choose. Under Israeli military law, army commanders possess full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over the approximately 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank, who have no input in how this authority is applied.
