The Israeli troops also prevented residents of the town of Qatanna from leaving and entering their land, while sealing off secondary roads.
For the third consecutive day, Israeli forces have continued to tighten their military measures in the towns northwest of Jerusalem, especially at the tunnel checkpoint, where soldiers inspect IDs and search vehicles. These restrictions have significantly disrupted daily life, causing massive traffic jams and hindering thousands of residents from reaching schools and workplaces. The closures have also forced shops to close and have affected patients with chronic illnesses, who are reported to be suffering due to the restrictions.
