Jenin: A farmer was injured on Tuesday after Israeli occupation forces attacked him while picking olives in the town of Kafr Ra'i, south of Jenin. Local sources reported that several Israeli soldiers severely beat the olive picker, causing a head injury while he was working on his land.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Palestinian lands face repeated attacks by colonists and the Israeli occupation army, particularly during the annual olive harvest season. These attacks prevent farmers from accessing their lands, resulting in significant material losses and worsening their daily struggles under the occupation.
Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out 7,154 attacks against citizens and their property, leading to the deaths of 33 citizens in the West Bank. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that these attacks have also resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and damage of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees.
