Salfit: Israeli colonists on Sunday vandalized a farming shed on the outskirts of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, in the central West Bank province of Salfit, and attacked a Palestinian farmer in a nearby village.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that colonists broke into an agricultural shed owned by Palestinian resident Mohammad Awad Mar'i, tampered with its contents, and caused damage.
In a related incident, colonists assaulted a Palestinian farmer near the village of Farkha and harassed him while he was tending to his own land.
Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. It includes arsons of property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on homes.
Over 700,000 Israeli settlers live in colonial settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
