Al-taybeh: Israeli colonists on Tuesday vandalized property belonging to members of the Arab al-Mleihat Bedouin community east of the village of Al-Taybeh, east of Ramallah. The colonists targeted essential infrastructure, causing significant damage to facilities relied upon by the residents for their daily needs.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Hassan Mleihat, director of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that the colonists punctured water tanks and uprooted the main gate along with sections of the surrounding fence at a Bedouin residential site owned by the Mleihat family. The attack has exacerbated the challenges faced by the community.
Mleihat emphasized that such acts of vandalism against water sources and basic infrastructure intensify the hardships experienced by Palestinian Bedouin communities. He warned that these attacks threaten the stability of the residents and represent an assault on their fundamental means of livelihood and survival.
