Israeli Colonists Uproot Olive Trees Near Jenin Under Army Protection

Jenin: Israeli colonists, accompanied by Israeli occupation forces, uprooted dozens of olive trees on Monday in the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, according to local officials. Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, head of the Jalboun village council, reported that the settlers stormed the southeastern area of the village and began destroying the trees, which are located on 130 dunams of land near the Israeli separation wall.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces have long barred residents from accessing their own land. The incident highlights the ongoing tensions and restrictions faced by the villagers in accessing and utilizing their agricultural lands, which are crucial for their livelihood.
