Israeli Colonists Target Bedouin Community Homes and Crops Near Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists attacked the homes and crops belonging to local residents in the Al-Auja waterfall community, north of Jericho, on Tuesday. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of Bedouin communities in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar organization for the defense of the rights of Bedouins and targeted villages, confirmed that a group of Israeli colonists, accompanied by their sheep, carried out the attack on the homes and crops. The colonists also reportedly assaulted the residents during the incident.

Malihat emphasized that this attack is part of the ongoing series of incidents perpetrated by the occupation forces against Bedouin and rural residential communities. The repeated nature of such attacks highlights the persistent threat faced by local residents in these areas.
