Ramallah: A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli colonists on Monday in the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta, west of Ramallah. Beit Ur al-Tahta Mayor Khadija Othman reported that colonists attacked the residents, who were accompanied by a Palestine TV crew, as they were heading to the northern part of the town to film a report on a previous colonist attack against three youths.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the residents were surprised by live gunfire, which struck one resident in the shoulder. The injured individual was later transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex for medical treatment. Othman added that the residents confronted the colonists, who attempted to assault them, before the colonists withdrew from the area.
