Burqa: Armed Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian shepherds on Saturday evening in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, stealing nearly 80 sheep, according to local sources. Sayel Kanaan, head of the Burqa Village Council, reported that the incident took place in the Al-Hadib area on the western outskirts of the village.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists, who were armed, assaulted the shepherds during the attack. They fired live ammunition toward the shepherds and forcibly took approximately 80 sheep belonging to a local Palestinian family.
This incident adds to the tensions in the region, where confrontations between Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents are not uncommon. The village council and local authorities are now assessing the situation and determining the next steps to address this violation.
