Post: Israeli Colonists Sabotage Bedouin Community’s Sole Water Pipeline

Jerusalem: Israeli colonists vandalized on Wednesday the main and only water pipeline supplying the Bedouin community of Arab al-Tabna, located east of occupied Jerusalem near Khan al-Ahmar along the road connecting Jerusalem and Jericho. The attack left the families without their sole source of water, further complicating their living conditions.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the attack is part of a series of violations targeting Bedouin communities east of Jerusalem. These acts are reportedly intended to pressure residents and force them to vacate their land.

Violence by colonists against Palestinians and their property is a common occurrence in the West Bank and is infrequently prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Such violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and assaults on vulnerable homes.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists reside in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is considered a violation of international law.
