Israeli Colonists Raid School in Bedouin Community, Causing Fear Among Students

Jericho: Dozens of Israeli colonists Saturday raided the Arab al-Ka'abneh Elementary School in the al-Mu'arjat area, north of Jericho. The incident has sparked concern and unrest within the local community, particularly among the students and their parents.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malihat, General Supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that the colonists, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, stormed the school, leading to fear and panic among the students. Malihat highlighted the frequent nature of these attacks and their detrimental effects on the educational environment. He emphasized that the repeated incidents are not only creating a climate of fear but are also undermining the sense of safety in schools, which is crucial for effective learning.

Malihat's statements underline the broader implications of such raids on the community, stressing the urgent need for measures to ensure the safety and security of educational institutions in the area. The ongoing unrest has raised questions about the impact on the wellbeing of children and the long-term effects on their educational pursuits.
