Tubas: Five Palestinians were injured after being pepper-sprayed directly in the face by Israeli colonists in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas, according to a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abdullah Bsharat, head of the Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar village council, reported that dozens of colonists attacked Palestinian shepherds. The assailants forced the shepherds out of the area and used pepper spray, resulting in burns and injuries to five individuals. Among those injured, three required hospital treatment due to the severity of their condition.
Bsharat highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by livestock farmers in the eastern areas of Tubas. He pointed out that colonists' attacks are not isolated incidents but part of a pattern aimed at displacing Palestinians from their homes. These actions further exacerbate the challenges faced by local farmers and disrupt their ability to work on their land.
