Gaza city: Israeli colonists forced Palestinian farmers to leave their land on Thursday evening in the al-Masoudiya area, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The incident marks another episode of tension in the region, where land disputes and colonist activities have been ongoing.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Diab Haji, head of the al-Masoudiya Land Defense Committee, reported that colonists attacked the residence of the Mohammad Balawi family. The family was compelled to vacate their land while they were engaged in agricultural activities. This disruption is part of a pattern of actions by colonists in the region.
Haji further noted that the colonists not only forced the farmers off their land but also stole agricultural equipment from the site. This area has reportedly been a frequent target of similar colonist attacks, raising concerns about the safety and rights of Palestinian farmers in the region.
