Bethlehem: Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the Khala’il al-Luz area, southeast of Bethlehem, on Saturday. Security sources reported that dozens of colonists stormed the area and gathered near the university housing complex, targeting Palestinian homes with stones. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the attack.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the colonists also allowed their sheep to graze on Palestinian-owned land in Khala’il al-Luz. These actions were accompanied by provocations and harassment, contributing to tensions in the area.
The Khala’il al-Luz neighborhood has been experiencing ongoing colonist violence, often under the protection of Israeli forces. This violence has manifested in various forms, including the intimidation of residents, stone attacks on homes, land confiscation, demolition of agricultural structures, and vandalism of olive trees and other Palestinian property.
