Ramallah: Israeli colonists, under military protection, launched coordinated attacks on several villages and towns in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh district on Saturday evening.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incidents began in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, where colonists opened fire at a young Palestinian man in the eastern neighborhood. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this attack.
In another incident, colonists attacked homes on the northern outskirts of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah. Local residents confronted the attackers and successfully prevented further damage. There were no casualties reported in this clash either.
Israeli occupation forces later intervened, providing cover for the colonists. During this intervention, several Palestinian young men, including the Deputy Mayor of Sinjil, Bahaa Fuqaha, were detained by the army. Additionally, the entrance to the town was sealed by the forces, restricting movement in the area.
Local sources also reported that another group of colonists gathered at the entrance to the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah. There, they threw stones at Palestinian vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
