Ramallah: Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Amin Abu Alia, head of the al-Mughayyir Village Council, reported that Israeli colonists stormed the village from its eastern side and attempted to raid the home of Mohammad Hamed Abu Alia, a local Palestinian family. The colonists also grazed their livestock on Palestinian agricultural land, causing damage to trees and crops.
The attack followed an earlier incident on the same day, where Israeli occupation forces and colonists raided the same home, resulting in several Palestinians being injured by live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, and stun grenades. During this raid, Israeli forces detained 23-year-old Moamen Abu Alia.
The village of al-Mughayyir and surrounding Palestinian communities have frequently faced attacks by Israeli colonists, targeting residents and their property, in addition to regular raids by Israeli occupation forces.
