Israeli Colonists Ignite Fires on Palestinian Agricultural Lands Near Nablus

Nablus: Israeli colonists set fire on Tuesday night to Palestinian-owned agricultural lands north of the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, a large number of colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, ignited fires in vast areas of land in the Wadi Yasuf area north of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya. This action prevented villagers from accessing the site and assessing the damage inflicted on the land.

Local sources noted that the Wadi Yasuf area has been a focal point of tension, as it recently witnessed the construction of a colonial road. The development led to the destruction of Palestinian lands last week, with extensive bulldozing conducted by colonists from the Kfar Tapuach colonial settlement. This settlement is illegally established on Yasuf and Iskaka land east of Salfit, further exacerbating the situation for local residents.
