Israeli Colonists Graze Livestock on Palestinian Lands in Jericho

Jericho: Israeli colonists raided the village of Shallal Al-Auja, north of Jericho, on Saturday, herding their livestock through residential neighborhoods, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, stated that the colonist incursions have become a daily occurrence. These activities typically occur in the morning and evening, resulting in damage to private farmland and grazing areas.

Mleihat highlighted that these activities are conducted under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. He warned of rising tensions and a sense of insecurity among the local residents due to these actions.

He further criticized the lack of effective intervention from relevant authorities to protect the village and its inhabitants. Mleihat emphasized that this ongoing negligence continues to exacerbate the suffering of Palestinian communities in the targeted areas.
