Bardala: Israeli colonists began expansion work on the colonial outpost adjacent to the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley. Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, highlighted the developments in a press release.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Malihat reported a significant increase in the construction of colonial units near the village. The expansion work includes the construction of several tents about 200 meters from Palestinian homes, which appears to be an effort to displace the Palestinian inhabitants for the benefit of settlers.
Malihat further noted the daily developments at the colonial outpost. Ready-mix concrete trucks have been brought in to speed up construction, contributing to the building of both permanent and modernized arbors aimed at further colonial expansion.
Additionally, Malihat pointed out that colonists are deliberately releasing 50 head of cattle onto Palestinian citizens' crops to destroy them. This action is part of ongoing efforts to pressure the local populace.
In this context, Al-Baidar Organization confirmed that the occupation authorities, along with the colonists, are enforcing repressive measures against shepherds in the area. These measures include strict movement restrictions, preventing shepherds from crossing the road around Bardala.
