Bethlehem: Israeli colonists set up a tent on Monday in the village of Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem. Security sources reported that a group of Israeli colonists erected the tent on Palestinian-owned land in Abu Njeim for settlement purposes.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Breijieh, a researcher specializing in the wall and settlements, stated that this action signifies the implementation of the Israeli military decision to construct a settler bypass road. This road is intended to link the settlements of Tekoa and Efrat, which would effectively isolate Bethlehem from its southern countryside.
