Hebron: Israeli colonists have established a tent and sheep pen on lands in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron. Local sources reported that the colonists set up these structures on Mount Hamroush, which is owned by several families, as part of a pastoral colonization initiative supported by the occupation government. This move is seen as an effort to impose a new reality on citizens' lands.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, these actions are part of a broader pattern where colonists attempt to take over land. Last month, there was an attempt to seize extensive areas in the Jourat al-Khail area, east of Sa'ir. Colonists reportedly forced citizens and shepherds to vacate the area, continuing their strategy of expanding control over local lands.
In addition to these recent activities, colonists have been grazing sheep around citizens' homes and on pastoral and agricultural lands in several communities and villages in Masafer Yatta. This is seen as part of a larger effort to forcibly displace local residents and take over their lands.
