Post: Israeli Colonists Enter Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound Under Police Protection

Jerusalem: Israeli colonists entered the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday under the protection of Israeli police.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, dozens of colonists entered the site in groups and conducted what were described as provocative tours throughout the compound. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the colonists also performed Talmudic rituals, including collective prostration, while under heavy protection from Israeli security forces.

Such incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound have become a recurring source of tension in occupied Jerusalem. The site holds significant religious and historical importance, and its control and access continue to be a contentious issue.
