Jericho: Israeli colonists at dawn cut off electrical wires supplying a number of Palestinians' homes and a school in the Arab al-Malihat community, northwest of the city of Jericho. Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the "Al-Baidar" organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, reported the incident, highlighting the ongoing tensions in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a group of colonists stormed the community and cut off electrical wires for five families in the village of Arab al-Malihat, and for the Arab al-Kaabneh elementary school in the community. This act has left several Palestinian families and school children without power, exacerbating the challenges faced by the community.
The Arab al-Malihat community in the Al-Mu'arjat area has been a frequent target of attacks. These actions are seen as an attempt to pressure residents to abandon their homes and lands. The persistent nature of these incidents underscores a broader strategy aimed at displacing the community, raising concerns about the safety and stability of Palestinian residents in the area.
