Ein al-hilweh: Israeli colonists began fencing off on Thursday additional Palestinian-owned lands in Ein al-Hilweh in the northern Jordan Valley. Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Maleh Village Council and the Bedouin communities, stated that dozens of colonists started installing iron posts in preparation for laying barbed wire fencing near residents' tents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, over the past months, colonists have fenced off hundreds of dunams of grazing and agricultural land across different areas of the northern Jordan Valley. The area has witnessed an escalation in colonist attacks against Palestinian residents and their property.
The increased activity has forced approximately 20 Palestinian families to leave the al-Mayta and al-Burj communities. The situation in the northern Jordan Valley highlights ongoing tensions and conflicts over land ownership and usage in the region.
