Israeli Colonists Attack Two Youths in Tubas, Occupied West Bank

Tubas: Armed Israeli colonists assaulted two Palestinian young men from the town of Tubas on Saturday evening while they were in the Khirbet Ibziq area, northeast of Tubas. The incident highlights the ongoing tensions and confrontations in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that several armed colonists attacked Walid Khaled Khudairi and Sami Raed Sawafta. The attack inflicted injuries on the two youths, necessitating their transfer to a hospital for treatment, underscoring the severity of the assault.

The Khirbet Ibziq area has been a hotspot for frequent incidents involving Israeli colonists. These colonists often engage in activities that harass local residents, expel them from grazing lands, and prevent farmers from cultivating their fields. Such actions are reportedly carried out under the protection of Israeli forces, contributing to the ongoing instability and insecurity experienced by the local Palestinian population.
