Israeli Colonists Attack Palestinian Vehicles and Block Road in Yatta Desert

Hebron: Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian vehicles and blocked a road in the Yatta desert south of Hebron on Monday. The incident resulted in damage to several cars, including one owned by Abdul Aziz Nayef Al-Ateem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh reported that dozens of colonists from the illegal colonial outposts of Shimon and Karmiel, along with several other outposts built on Palestinian land in the Yatta and Masafer Yatta area, were involved in the attack. The colonists used clubs and stones to damage the vehicles.

In addition to the attack on the vehicles, the colonists blocked the road leading to the villages of Al-Zweidin and Khirbet Fateh Sidra. This act further escalated tensions in the region, affecting the daily lives of the local Palestinian population.

The colonists also engaged in agricultural activities on Palestinian-owned land east of Shaab Al-Batim village in Masafer Yatta. They plowed and sowed the land while preventing the rightful landowners from accessing their property. The colonists further confiscated tractors belonging to the Palestinian landowners, exacerbating the situation.
