Salfit:Four Palestinians sustained injuries on Thursday when Israeli colonists attacked farmers in Wadi al-Shaer, an area situated between Salfit and al-Laban al-Sharqiya. In addition to the physical assaults, the attackers damaged approximately five vehicles.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the injured individuals were taken to Yasser Arafat Governmental Hospital in Salfit, with reported injuries ranging from bruises to fractures. The victims have been identified as Mohammad Darwish Shtayeh, Nashat Abdullah Shtayeh, Rashad Darwish Shtayeh, and Saddam Adel Zubeidiya.
Local sources indicated that the colonists used sharp objects during the attack on the farmers. This incident is part of an increasing trend of assaults by colonists and Israeli forces in the Salfit Governorate, targeting farmers, their lands, and properties. These attacks have coincided with the olive harvest season, during which Palestinians face heightened restrictions on accessing their agricultural land.
