Masafer Yatta: A 16-year-old child was injured today in an attack by Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, located south of Hebron, according to local sources. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, activist Osama Makhamrah reported that a group of colonists attacked the home of Palestinian citizen Issa Awad in the Al-Touba area of Masafer Yatta. During the assault, his son, 16-year-old Issa Issa Awad, sustained injuries and bruises to his head. He was subsequently transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital, where his injuries were described as moderate. Israeli colonists, operating under the framework of the Israeli government's policies of settlement expansion, have been pushing for territorial control in the West Bank, including Masafer Yatta, which is considered an area at high risk of forced displacement due to ongoing settlement activities. As a result, Palestinians in the area live under constant fear of displacement.
