Jerusalem: Israeli colonists attacked the Bedouin community of Ma'azi Jaba, northeast of Jerusalem, on Saturday, according to the Jerusalem Governorate. The colonists assaulted the Bedouin gathering and vandalized residents' property, in addition to killing several sheep belonging to local residents in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the community is home to around 200 residents, including about 40 families and 70 children under the age of 18, who live in difficult conditions lacking basic necessities. Bedouin communities around Jerusalem often face attacks by Israeli colonists and forces, which are part of policies aimed at displacing the Palestinian population to favor colonial expansion and settlement projects.
