Israeli Colonists Attack and Injure Palestinian Man Near Masafer Yatta

Gaza: A Palestinian man sustained injuries and bruises on Sunday after being severely beaten by Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, located south of Hebron. Israeli forces also detained another Palestinian who attempted to prevent an attack on his home and property.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, anti-colonial settlement activist Osama Makhameh reported that armed Israeli colonists attacked the man while he was herding livestock near Khirbet Hraibat al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta. The man suffered multiple injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

In a related incident, Israeli soldiers detained a resident of Khillet al-Dabe in Masafer Yatta. The resident had confronted colonists who vandalized the fence surrounding his home and allowed their livestock to graze on his agricultural land.

Additionally, Israeli forces sealed off the entrance to a home belonging to the Idris family in the Jaber neighborhood. This area is near the illegal colonial settlement of Kiryat Arba, which is built on privately owned Palestinian land east of Hebron.
