Kisan: Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian residents today in the village of Kisan, located east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, according to local sources. The attack led to significant damage and forced displacement of local families.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mousa Ebayyat, head of the Kisan Village Council, reported that colonists stormed the Deir Alla area in the Kisan wilderness. During the attack, the colonists vandalized homes, destroyed solar panels, and damaged the local water network. Additionally, they looted several belongings, resulting in ten families being forcibly displaced from their homes.
Ebayyat further highlighted that there has been a recent escalation in violence by colonists in Kisan and its surrounding areas. Recent incidents have included the burning of homes and tents, seizure of livestock, and repeated efforts to drive Palestinians off their land. The situation has raised concerns among the residents about their safety and the security of their properties.
