Khirbet umm nir: An elderly Palestinian citizen was injured and bruised on Tuesday after being severely beaten by colonists in Khirbet Umm Nir, south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that a group of armed colonists attacked the citizen while he was on his agricultural land in Khirbet Umm Nir, located within the Masafer Yatta area. The attack left the elderly individual with injuries and bruises across various parts of his body.
The sources further indicated that the injured man was transported to a medical center for treatment. Meanwhile, the colonists continued their activities in the area under the protection of the Israeli occupation army. These actions are part of a broader trend aimed at forcibly displacing residents and seizing land in the region.
Khirbet Umm Nir and other villages and towns south of Hebron have been experiencing repeated attacks by colonists. These incidents include beatings, threats, and vandalism, reflecting an escalation of violations against citizens and their property.
