Ramallah: Israeli colonists assaulted several Palestinians on Monday near the village of Atara, north of Ramallah, according to local sources. The sources reported that a group of Israeli colonists attacked Palestinians traveling in a vehicle after they mistakenly entered the Khirbet Tarfin area. This area, on the outskirts of the village, is home to a settlement outpost established on seized land in August of last year.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the colonists beat the Palestinians, tied them up, and detained them until Israeli forces arrived at the scene. No further information was immediately available regarding the condition of the victims or whether any of them was detained by the forces following the incident.
