Israeli Bulldozers Raze Agricultural Lands in Jenin for Outpost Expansion

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces have bulldozed agricultural lands belonging to residents of Khirbet Masoud, southwest of Jenin, aiming to expand a nearby colonial outpost. Saleh Amarneh, head of the village council in Zubda, reported that occupation bulldozers uprooted olive trees and razed lands owned by residents of Zubda and Khirbet Masoud.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Amarneh noted that Israeli forces marked targeted plots with orange signs in recent days. He emphasized that these lands are registered and documented with official ownership deeds. The bulldozing activity is intended to expand the pastoral settlement outpost located on the mountain in Khirbet Masoud, which was established in 2019.

Amarneh also highlighted that colonists frequently assault Palestinian farmers, allowing their livestock to graze in agricultural fields while engaging in acts of vandalism and intimidation. Khirbet Masoud, under the jurisdiction of Zubda Village Council, consists of three residential communities: Iraq al-Dawar, Khirbet Faris, and Khirbet al-Qusur, with approximately 350 residents.

The occupation forces are seizing dozens of dunams of agricultural land adjacent to the colonial outpost on the mountain, affecting areas extending from Qaffin to the Ya'bad Mountains south of Jenin.
