Gaza city: Seven citizens lost their lives and several others sustained injuries on Sunday following an Israeli airstrike on a school that was sheltering displaced individuals in the Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital revealed that the airstrike on the Abu Asi School resulted in the deaths of seven people and injured dozens more, including children. These injured individuals were transported to the hospital for urgent medical attention after the attack.
Sources from hospitals across Gaza have reported that the number of fatalities from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip has escalated to 48 since dawn today, with 36 of these deaths occurring in Gaza City.
