Post: Israeli Bombardment in Gaza Kills Five Palestinians, Injures Others.

Gaza City: Israeli bombardment Tuesday evening killed five Palestinians and injured others to the north of Gaza City, according to medical sources. They reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted a group of people in the Az-Zarqa area, resulting in the fatalities and injuries. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israel has continued its offensive in Gaza despite a legally binding decision from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to halt military actions in Rafah. This ongoing assault potentially violates Israel's obligations under the Genocide Convention. Since October 7, the conflict has led to the death of at least 43,391 Palestinians and injuries to over 102,347 individuals. Additionally, at least 10,000 people remain unaccounted for and are presumed to be buried under debris across the Gaza Strip. Palestinian and international organizations report that the majority of casualties are women and children. The ongoing aggression has also caused the displacement of nearly t wo million people within the Gaza Strip, with most seeking refuge in the overcrowded southern city of Rafah, near the Egyptian border, marking the largest mass exodus in Palestine since the 1948 Nakba.
