Post: Israeli Authorities to Deport 12 International Activists Detained Near Ramallah

Ramallah:Israeli occupation authorities have decided to deport 12 international activists who were detained while supporting olive-picking activities in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the activists were detained on Friday and include citizens from Germany, Italy, Canada, and the United States. The deportation is set to occur on Saturday morning, as reported by the Faza'a campaign, which received this information from a lawyer tracking the detainees' case.

The incident involved a total of 17 detainees, including two foreign journalists and three Palestinians, following an assault by a group of colonists on those participating in the olive harvest. The Faza'a campaign has condemned the actions of the occupation authorities, criticizing the repeated detention and deportation of activists. They argue that these measures are an attempt to silence witnesses to colonist attacks, hinder the documentation of violations against Palestinians, and obstruct international efforts to protect and support farmers in accessing their lands.
