Post: Israeli Authorities Order Demolition of Palestinian Home and Business Near Jerusalem

Jaba': Israeli authorities have issued a demolition order against a Palestinian resident's home and commercial facility in the town of Jaba', north of Jerusalem.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency, resident Ziad Sultan was given a notice ordering the demolition of his two-story home, which was built 11 years ago and houses two families totaling 13 people, as well as a commercial workshop. The demolition order was issued on the grounds that the structures were built without a permit.

The governorate noted that Israeli authorities had imposed a fine of 10,000 shekels on Sultan a week earlier before serving the demolition notice on Sunday. The demolition was scheduled to be carried out on Monday.
