Israeli Authorities Issue Demolition Notices for School and Homes in Yatta

Yatta: Israeli occupation authorities have issued demolition notices affecting Khallat Umayra School and two homes in the Yatta area, south of Hebron. These actions have prompted concerns among local residents and activists.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local anti-colonization activist Osama Makhamreh reported that the school, which is located east of Yatta, consists of eight caravans and serves 54 students ranging from kindergarten to the fourth grade. This marks the second notice the school has received, following a stop-work order that was issued last year.

In addition to the school, authorities have issued a stop-work order for a 180-square-meter house owned by a resident in the Arfa'iya area, also east of Yatta. This home is a shelter for six family members. Another resident has received a demolition notice for his 170-square-meter house, indicating a broader impact on the local community.
