Israeli Authorities Demolish Palestinian Structures in Khallet al-Dabaa

Hebron: Israeli occupation authorities demolished on Monday five Palestinian houses and a cave in Khallet al-Dabaa, which is affiliated with the village council in At-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. The demolition affected structures owned by the Dababsa family, displacing approximately 40 people, including many children and women.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the village council in At-Tuwana, Muhammad Rabie, reported that the occupation forces stormed Khallet al-Dabaa with heavy machinery. In addition to demolishing the houses and cave, the occupation forces destroyed the main and secondary electricity and water networks in the area. They also bulldozed trees and crops surrounding the homes.

The owners of the affected properties have appealed to national, human rights, and international institutions to intervene immediately to halt such practices. They have also called for an end to attacks by colonists against Palestinians and their property in the region, which they say aim to force residents to leave their homes and lands for the benefit of colonists.
